The Executive Committee (EC) is similar to the Board of Directors found in corporations and yacht clubs. EC members are elected by the Squadron membership and, along with the Bridge Officers, manage the business affairs of the squadron. 

The Squadron Bridge is composed of elected officers, similar to the Flag Officers found in yacht clubs and elected officers in corporations. Along with members of the Executive Committee, they manage the business of the squadron.

\"\"Mark and his wife Anne recently purchased their third sailboat, an O’Day 272LE named “F5\". Their home port is the Village Marina in Watkins Glen. 

Mark is retired from the Hilliard Corporation of Elmira, and is also a retired United Methodist Local Pastor 

Many childhood summers were spent growing up at the family cottage on Starkey Point where he learned to fish, swim, canoe, row, ski, and operate small water craft. He was a radioman in the U.S. Navy from 1969-1973 (Viet Name era), specializing in teletype communications for ComCruDesLant staff in Newport, RI, followed by an assignment to the light guided missile cruiser U.S.S. Little Rock CLG-4 (now part of the naval museum at the Buffalo Waterfront Park). Mark is also a ham radio operator, call sign N2RZZ, holding a General class ticket. He an Annie also have a 1969 MGB and participate in the yearly Watkins Grand Prix Festivals.

Mark and wife Anne joined USPS in the spring of 2011 and completed their Seamanship and Sailing courses by the end of the summer. They are also members of the Finger Lakes Yacht Club

Education Officer Tom Alley, SN

\"\"Tom has been a USPS member since the late \'80s when he got serious about sailing and having fun on the water. He has been a Squadron Education Officer (SEO) first for the Niagara Squadron and later for the Seneca Squadron for longer than he cares to remember. (1995?)

Tom and his family sail a 1965 Alberg 35 sloop, Tomfoolery, and are active racers and cruisers with the Finger Lakes Yacht Club in Watkins Glen, NY.

When he\'s not sailing, Tom is either scuba diving, hanging out with fellow amateur radio operators, or working as an engineer to support his sailing habit.

Assistant Education Officer Jim McGinnis, P

\"\"Jim has been a life-long sailor since his family bought a Sunfish in the early 60’s and sailed on Cape Cod Bay in Massachusetts. He was hooked as they say. His first boat was a 14.2 Capri Sloop which he, his wife Lynn, and son Scott sailed in the intracoastal waterway in North Carolina for several years. 

Jim completed the ASA sailing classes of Coastal Cruising and Bareboat Chartering through the Waterways Sailing School in Wilmington, NC and has chartered sailboats in North Carolina, Florida and the Virgin Islands.

Jim has been a Member of the Seneca Power Squadron since 2007. He is a current member of the Finger Lakes Yatch Club and owns Brewster, a 1995 Hunter 336.
